Whilst we listen to the government talking about how there is NO north/south divide and that even the poor can get into real big careers etc, I always think yeah right.
In having a look at how to get into the career that I want to be in, I’ve suddenly realised that I won’t ever get into the career and industry I want to be in, and why? Because I don’t have the money in order to get into the career I want.
I really wonder how many other people have looked at their own chances of getting into the career they want and have realised that they too, don’t really have the chance or the money to enter into it.
Surely in the 21st Century, it shouldn’t matter how much money you have, it should be about how much the person wants it, and of course how much talent the person has in that industry, shouldn’t it?
These days, the only people who can get into certain careers are simply, people who have got the money in order to do it.
It’s got nothing to do with talent, willingness to learn, wanting that career and wanting to progress anymore, its about money and if you’re like me, haven’t got the money and have absolutely no way to get the money, you sit in jealousy because you know how much you want that kind of job and how much you would put into that career if it was yours.
Since when has the career of someone all been down completely to money? The fact that people can no longer get into the career they want because of money and whether that person has the money to do it or not its stupid, moreover it is really really sad.
It should be down to talent, skill and willingness to learn.
These things are no longer judged on talent and skill, its all about the cash.
It really pisses me off because I’ve got the want, the willingness to learn and I’d like to think I’ve got some of the talent needed, BUT I haven’t got the money to do it.
It really is fucked up that mine and other people’s potential careers are unreachable because we haven’t got the money to do it.
Its absolutely pathetic!
